Steven Melendez is a creative director, brand builder, and entrepreneur with over a decade of experience spanning product development, marketing, design, and global manufacturing. He is the co-founder of Pedal Electric and Speaqua Sound Co., two design-led consumer brands that have grown from early-stage concepts into nationally recognized businesses with retail distribution through partners including Target, Walmart, REI, Best Buy, and Nordstrom.
Beginning his career in global sales and manufacturing through Stack Electronics and Supply Concepts, Steven developed deep expertise in overseas production, OEM partnerships, sourcing, and industrial design across Asia, Mexico, and the United States. That operational foundation evolved into a multidisciplinary career leading creative direction, brand strategy, advertising, content production, web development, retail marketing, and experiential campaigns.
Known for combining strong visual instincts with hands-on execution and strategic thinking, Steven has led collaborations and creative projects with brands and partners including Puma, Paramount, SpongeBob, The Rolling Stones, MGK, Vuori, Quiksilver, Volcom, JuneShine, and more. His work bridges culture, product, and storytelling, helping build brands that balance aesthetics, performance, and commercial growth across digital, retail, and lifestyle channels.
